Obelo centers African ideas of simplicity and ingenuity in its reimagining of modernist chairs by Le Corbusier and Eames. Inspired by chaises à palabre africaine—used by royalty across the continent to signify authority, power, and respect—this interlocking cantilever design pays homage to this heritage. While flat-packable to under 3 cu.ft. for convenient transport, the Obelo Lounge One still boasts a full recline for a 6'2" user with a levitating design that proudly evokes luxury, magic, and elegance.
